Position : Sap HR Functional Consultant
MUST be able to analyze AND articulate SAP payroll results in end-user terminology.
MUST have in-depth knowledge of gross to net payroll processing (preferably US) and strong understanding of how payroll changes impact SAP Finance outputs such as net pay postings, IDOCs, GL postings, symbolic accounts, etc.
Must have strong knowledge of IMG and configuration methodology (wage type configuration, plans, company codes, call centers, rules, schemas, etc);
MUST know and be able to use SAP validation tools.
MUST know BSI tax processes (including updates AND upgrades) and reporting;
MUST have thorough understanding of configuration impacts to US Payroll plans and payroll;
MUST possess ability to analyze ABAP code;
MUST understand international assignees SAP payroll handling; must be able to analyze and articulate gross up results and derived outs.
Intimately know payroll YEAR END processes/processing. Must be able to review OSS notes and document system impacts for developer/configuration handoff. All of the above require the ability to write effective technical document (FDDS) in preparation for handoff to other technical team members in a global environment to implement.
MUST be able to work in global environment.
Exp: SAP R3 4.7, 5 yrs in SAP 3 yrs in NA payroll;
MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE CLEARLY AND CONCISELY IN ENGLISH.
MUST BE ABLE TO AUTHOR TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION IN ENGLISH.
MUST POSSESS STRONG ANALYTICAL SKILLS.
