Senior / Solution Consultant: Global Delivery Center - Utilities

2. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Within SAP® Consulting, the Global Delivery Center is a group that provides remote SAP consulting service to SAP customers. This group serves customers worldwide via tight cooperation with other local SAP consulting teams. This means worldwide delivery commitment in areas including SAP ERP application, SAP Supply Chain Management application, SAP Customer Relation Management application, SAP Strategic Enterprise Management application, SAP Supplier Relationship Management application, and solutions for Retail and Financial Services industries

3. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as trusted adviser to the customer

• Manage customer expectations and avoid any escalations

• Support the pre-sales activities

• Independently run initiatives to improvise processes or provide new process steps

• Work on projects executed across geographies and cultures

4. REQUIREMENTS

Education:

University degree, preferably in engineering (bachelor in engineering, or master degree in computer applications, business administration, or science)

Required skills:

• Sound IT knowledge (operation systems, databases, and application servers)

• An expert for development aspects of a customer implementation project (evaluating functional specs, preparation of technical specs, coding, reviews, unit testing, technical issue resolution, and so on)

• Excellent communication ability in written and oral English

• Good application knowledge

• Exposure to project management or project management methodologies is an asset

Experience:

• Atleast 3 end to end implementation experience in either of the below areas:

o ISU Energy Data Management

o ISU IDE

o ISU FICA

o ISU Customer Service/Masterdata template

o CRM-ISU Integration and CRM Service/Contract Management

• Experience in working in the State Electricity Board or Electricty Companies will be an added advantage

• Certification in the Core Module( MM/SD) is desirable

• Must have worked for large organizations, and handled large complex projects in the onsite-offshore model

Travel requirements:

• International traveling is required

• Must have flexibility to travel for extended periods of time
