Head / Vice President Product Management:

Key Responsibilities:

• A Competent professional with experience in Product management, Requirement analysis, Implementation and training of Software applications and MIS.
• Adept at gathering requirements and preparing functional design documents for software development.
• A strategist with proven skills in implementing software solutions for various clients and training users helping them to handle the enterprise wide change management.
• Proven abilities in understanding customer requirements and incorporating them in the product.
• A result focused and effectual leader with proven abilities in augmenting the operations efficiency
• Demonstrated skills in relationship management as well as exceptional communication abilities to cut across the organizational levels and accomplish targets

Work Experience:
• Typically 12+ years of experience in Product management, Requirement analysis, Implementation and training of Software applications and MIS.
• Gather new requirements and analyze with current product features based on discussions with customers.
• Business evaluation of the requirement and preparation of Requirements definition document.
• Coordinate with technical team and prepare functional design document for the requirements.
• Draw impact analysis on other products/modules and give feasibility reports for changes.
• Prepare functional test cases and perform integrated and regression tests.
• Review user and training materials for new features and coordinate release of the new versions.
• Working closely with the clients to understand their business process.
• Implementing the software applications in the production environment.
• Functional inputs for data migration to the new environment.
• Participate in meetings at all levels to establish product deliverables match with the business requirements.
• Perform sanity checks on data to ensure correctness of data
• Demonstrate the new environment to user groups.
• Monitoring specific project milestones and ensure compliance of quality standards.
• Handholding of the users for completing User Acceptance Tests.
• Document the change management process and training manuals to assist the users.
• Giving techno functional inputs to customers for future troubleshooting and maintenance of the applications.
• Planning and monitoring of all project-related activities so as to ensure that the project being executed adheres to the project plan. Controlling changes to the project scope and budget.
• Developing individual and group competencies to enhance project performance
• Collecting and disseminating performance information. This includes status reporting, progress measurement and forecasting.
• Monitoring residual risks identifying new risks, executing risk reduction plans and evaluating their effectiveness throughout the project life cycle
• Take effective corrective and preventive actions for Non Conformances, Bugs and Defects.
