Position Summary: The Application Support Manager is responsible for ensuring that the Steelwedge S&OP implementations and on-demand operations are supported excellently. We're looking for a senior leader who has the experience, conceptual intelligence, and drive to build and maintain a world-class 24 x 7 support function. The Application Support Manager will interact with a wide array of stakeholders, from developers to members of our Infrastructure team. Define, design, and implement support engineering best practices.

Skills looking for:
• A total of 7-12 Years experience with minimum 3 years of experience in managing a 24X7 support or engineering services team on a shift basis.
• Experience in supporting enterprise applications in SaaS model with 2-5 years of experience in supporting DW, ERP or other enterprise level applications/systems. Experience must include configuration and system update management.
• Must possess skills in a broad technical set: Java/J2EE, application servers, interfaces, networking, email servers, XML. A development background is highly desirable.
• Must be well-versed in handling routine check-ups and maintenance of on-demand and hosted applications.
• Experience in supporting demand and supply planning applications (i2, Oracle, Demantra, SAP) is highly desirable.
• Must have experience in MS SQL server (incl. 2005 & 2008) and must be very strong in MS Transact SQL
• Experience in MS SQL DB Developments like writing stored procedures, triggers, User defined functions, database design.
• Must be comfortable in driving and handling DB maintenance, tuning and related DBA activities
• Must possess highly Proficient English Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Must have ability to work with business customers, vendors, managers, and technical staff at all levels
• Must be highly flexible and respond quickly to all internal and external support/maintenance requests.
